A few nights ago, I got to shoot pictures of parents-to-be, Gary & Amanda Knotts. They are my sweet neighbors and such a cute couple. Gary is a professional baseball player - hence the baseball and glove! I feel so privileged when people let me take such intimate and special pictures as these. I love these types of photos, and I think mommies-to-be are so beautiful! Daddies-to-be think they are lovely too! Thanks guys for letting me help you to document this very special time in your lives. I can't wait to meet baby Knotts!
Check out my new friend Shaggy. Isn't he a sweetie! I'm dog sitting for a while and I just love him! He's so cute, I had to take some pictures of him!
It's that time of year - the time for Christmas cards! I love shooting pictures for Christmas cards and designing something cool for the families. This weekend I got to meet the Olive children - Hunter, Chapman, and Sarah Payton. What a beautiful family and they have a lovely home for taking pictures. I got to visit them there and take some pictures before they were off to do all the many activities kids do this time of year (ballgames, etc.). Thanks guys for taking the time out of your busy schedules to allow me to take some Christmas photos of you!
This weekend I got to shoot pictures of these cute kids for Christmas cards, etc. It was my first time to meet Ashtynn and Slate, but I had already met mom, Pam! They were so sweet and I think we got some cool shots of them. I hope they like them. They plan to use one for their Christmas card this year. Thanks kids for being such good sports!
This past weekend, I got to shoot pictures (for the first time professionally) of my little Russian friend, Kristina Poole! Isn't she a doll! Her little shoes are the one's her mom (my friend Connie) brought her home from Russian in. Can you believe she can still put them on?! That was almost two years ago! They were definitely too small for her, so it was just for the picture. There are a few of my favorites from our shoot.
This weekend I got to shoot Christmas card pictures for the Wilson family (Caroline, Chris, Garrett, Gracin, & Gage). They are a beautiful family. We had some fun in Mooresville. Here are a few of my favorites.
I shot pictures of a couple of my favorite kids (Stevie & Rivers Hovater) the other day for their Christmas cards. Here are a few of my favorites! Rivers looked cool driving my car!
One of the reasons I haven't blogged in a while is because I'VE BEEN MOVING! What a pain! I hate moving, but I sure had some great help to make it a lot easier. Thanks to my wonderful neighbors, my mom, my dad, and my friend Suzanne, it was much easier than I could have ever expected. From these pictures, it looks like the Beverly Hillbillies are moving down the street, and she's an alcoholic at that (my friend Tommy gets the good moving boxes from the local liquor store, haha). Luckily, I only had to move about 500 feet down the street. We made about 4 of these "Clampet mobile" trips down the street, plus what the movers moved! We did all this over one weekend, plus set out 48 plants around the house! These people can move! Thank you so much to my wonder family and friends. I couldn't have done it without you! Love you all!
It's been a while since I blogged, so I apologize. I recently went to Atlanta to a great little B&B for the wedding of Kevin and Amy O'Neal! They had a blast, and I did too. My mom went with me and we had a nice little day trip. The weather was great and we got to see a little color on the leaves on the way over through Fort Payne. These are a few of my favorite shots from the event. Congratulations guys and thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!
At Samantha and Angus' wedding last weekend, I got to meet Sam's sister Sandra and her husband Timm, and their beautiful baby girl, Kalea! She's four months old and we did a shoot the next morning before we "trashed the dress" with Sam and Angus. What a precious baby! Isn't she a beauty?! I'm so glad I got to meet you guys. I had heard such good things about everyone already! They all proved to be true! Hope you like Kalea's pictures!
