Check out little Maggie O'Dea. She's the little doll I shot pictures of this weekend. We had to fight the rain, but she was a good little sport. Isn't she a cutie pie!

Here are some of my favorite shots of the cutest little boy and the sweetest little girl I took pictures of today. They were so easy to shoot and very well-behaved! What a great experience!

This weekend I shot some photos of three little divas - the Clark girls! Aren't they all precious!

Next on my list of most outstanding women is my dear friend Tenecia “Tillie” Smith! Tillie was one of my students many years ago at Calhoun when she served as an ambassador for the college. Tillie has Sickle Cell Anemia and has lived with this disease all her life. I admire her so much for her tenacity (her name even reflects it – tenacity/Tenecia - it kind of rhymes!). She has the greatest attitude, even though she has to endure excruciating pain at times. I admire her spirit and courage because she is so strong, both physically and emotionally. She’s lived practically half her life in the hospital. I know she gets lonely and discouraged sometimes, but I know that she has a strong faith and love for her family and son and that keeps her going. She’s grown into a beautiful woman who is a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, and friend. I love her so much and she reminds me of how fortunate it is to have good health and be pain-free. I wish I could take some of her pain away because she deserves to be content. Through our friendship, I’ve also learned a lot about this terrible disease. I know she will never be free of it, but hopefully she will be a soldier for a possible cure one day. Thank you Tillie, for teaching me so much, and being such a good friend and role model for me. This week, I had the privilege to shoot some maternity photos of the Goss family. It was so nice meeting them all. They are so sweet and I had a great time with them! Timothy was a great sport, and looks just like mom! They are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a baby girl and I could tell they are excited! I hope they have time to check out their pictures before delivery! I think she's due this week! Thanks guys for being such fun to work with. I hope to meet baby girl Goss soon!

Well finally, my friend Tony got married! Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Anthony Zimmerer! I attended his wedding on Feb. 2 in Tampa, FL and it was a beautiful ceremony! I think the reception was one of the nicest I've attended. The food was awesome! As you can see, the happy couple seemed to have a blast. I wish them the best in this new chapter of their lives. It was so nice seeing old friends and catching up. I hope you guys had fun on your honeymoon to Hawaii! Hope to see you again soon!

A few weeks ago, my friend Ken and I got to travel down to Tampa, FL for the Professional Photographer's Convention (PPA). It was great fun! The weather was like summer again. We had the top down the whole time, as you can see. The sunsets were beautiful too. I also got to catch up with my old friend Tony, and meet his fiance' Shari (see pic), while I was down there. They are getting married in Feb., so heading back down that way again for their wedding soon!

Check out my friend Ken and his dog Shaggy. They are so cute! We had some fun one day just shooting pictures in Decatur. It was really cold though!

While we were in TN for the wedding, we decided to go on up a piece and visit my mom's BFF (best friend forever), Yanah and her husband Larry. They have this really cool old home that they are completely renovating from the ground up. It used to belong to the Governor of Tennessee many years ago. They gave us the tour and we enjoyed a short visit with them. It was great seeing you guys! You have a lovely place.

I actually attended a wedding for the first time in about 5 or 6 years, without having to photograph it! It was the wedding of my dear friend Justin Trulove and his lovely bride Jodi. They got married in Gatlinburg, TN over the Christmas holiday. Of course, I couldn't go without taking a few pictures while I was there. Here are a few to share with everyone. Congratulations guys! It was a beautiful ceremony and we all had lots of fun!

A few nights ago, I got to shoot pictures of parents-to-be, Gary & Amanda Knotts. They are my sweet neighbors and such a cute couple. Gary is a professional baseball player - hence the baseball and glove! I feel so privileged when people let me take such intimate and special pictures as these. I love these types of photos, and I think mommies-to-be are so beautiful! Daddies-to-be think they are lovely too! Thanks guys for letting me help you to document this very special time in your lives. I can't wait to meet baby Knotts!

It's that time of year - the time for Christmas cards! I love shooting pictures for Christmas cards and designing something cool for the families. This weekend I got to meet the Olive children - Hunter, Chapman, and Sarah Payton. What a beautiful family and they have a lovely home for taking pictures. I got to visit them there and take some pictures before they were off to do all the many activities kids do this time of year (ballgames, etc.).
