I had the privilege of meeting a new family this weekend - Kimberly, Avery, and Landon Jacobs. What a beautiful, sweet family! Landon had to warm up to me when we met, but after a while, he was at ease. What a handsome little devil! Here are a few of my favorites. I hope you like them!

It's that time of year again - Christmas time! Time to do Christmas cards! This weekend, I shot a family I've known for a few years - The Wilson's (Caroline, Chris, Garrett, Grayson, and Gage). They've also had an addition to the family - Riley the ragdoll cat (so pretty!). Can you believe they've already got their house decorated for the holiday, and they have this huge, awesome tree! Last weekend, I had the privilege of assisting my friend  Sloane with a beautiful wedding! Congratulations to Jennifer and Matt - the gorgeous bride and her handsome, baseball player husband! The church was decorated like a winter wonderland of icy sticks and branches! Here are some of my favorites from the night.

This weekend, I got to spend some quality time with the girls. You know we gals have to have fun every now and then. Several of us went to Nashville to a comedy club called Zanies and saw James Gregory, the "Funniest Man in America"! I laughed so hard my stomach hurt! Anyway, after the show, we got to meet Mr. Gregory and have our picture made with him. We then proceeded to have some more fun at the Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville. Girls are so much fun! I spent time with my current friends and got to know a couple of new girlfriends. You can never have enough girlfriends!

I take so many pictures of my friends Kelly, Steve, Rivers, & Stevie! I just love it! They are the prettiest family!

This weekend, I shot Christmas card pictures of Laiykin (not sure on spelling, sorry) and Tret King. Aren't they the cutest kids! Their little outfits reminded me of an old fashioned Christmas. Tret is also into his skull hat too though. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot. Gorgeous mom and grandmom came too. I can see where the kids get their good looks. Hope you like!

This weekend my mom and I spent some quality time with each other by taking a day trip over to Mentone, Desota Falls, and the Little River Canyon. The fall leaves were in full peak and the drive over and back was spectacular! We also took her little dog Maggie Mae with us, and even let the top down on the Bug while taking the scenic route through Little River Canyon. What a beautiful time of year it is, and it was the perfect day to enjoy it! Here are a few pictures of our trip.

Every year at Calhoun, we honor our Veterans, and for the past several years, I've been involved in coordinating this event. It's so special and always touches my heart to hear their stories. Our special guest this year was Mrs. Faye Hooper, the widow of Staff Sgt. Joe Hooper, the most highly decorated Vietnam Veteran. She did a wonderful job and shared some very special memories of her husband with everyone. She even brought her husband's Medal of Honor - the highest honor a soldier can receive! I so enjoyed meeting her. Here are a few pictures from the event. Two of our favorite Veterans at Calhoun are in one picture - Mr. Jack Barham and Dr. Randy Cross, who both participated in the event as well. There's also a picture of her with Joan McCollum (her best friend), and Col. James Walker from Austin HS, who was kind enough to bring the Color Guard students over to participate in our program. Thanks to these people and others, we had a successful event. Check out some of our Veterans at Calhoun. We are so proud of them and so thankful for their service!

This past week, I got to attend this wonderful luncheon called Circles. It's an annual fundraiser for the  Christian Women's Job Corps, which my dear friend Dr. Jo O'Neal helps sponsor. This is a picture of her with another friend, Gayla Feldman. Every year, Dr. O'Neal is kind enough to pay for my friend Mattie and I to attend this event.
 CWJC is an organization which provides a Christian context in which women in need are equipped for life and employment; and a missions context in which women help women. It's always so special in that they have a well-known keynote speaker, as well as an inspirational speach by one of their former students. This year, the table decorations were beautiful and the theme was a tea party. Each guest got to take home a unique tea cup/saucer. They were beautiful! This is something I look forward to every year and it's such a good cause. Thanks Dr. O'Neal for the pleasure of attending again this year!

My mom and her friend Lynn have a new baby they are taking care of... this beautiful baby horse, but mommy's there to do most of the hard work. Here are some pictures of their newest pet. They just love their horses!

Last weekend I had the privilege of shooting pictures at the wedding of Brenda Isbell and Keith Coggins. What a lovely couple. Obviously they are both big golfers, hence the wedding was held at Old Waverly Golf Course in West Point, MS. What a beautiful place! It was a small wedding and very laid back, which is always refreshing and less stressful. The weather was gorgeous too. We had a ball driving around on the golf cart just taking fun pictures.
