My friend Rivers has a birthday coming up and as one of his gifts, he got to spend some time skateboarding with his friend James Hardy! James is a professional skateboarder from Huntsville. And I got to snap some pix of them while they were doing their thing! I think this will be a birthday that Rivers will always remember.
Another day to spend with great friends - the Palmers! Here are Jason, Misti, Gage, & Easton! We had the best time at Delano Park at this family shoot. This shoot was part of Misti's Mother's Day gift from Jason. How sweet! Once again, I could not believe how much these kids have grown. It was my first time to photograph Little Easton, and I couldn't believe how tall Gage has gotten! And they are so handsome too! Here are a few of my favorites. Hope you like too!
Here are my friends Gina, Jerome, Colin, and Carson - the Loosiers! I love them! The kids have grown so much since I've seen them! How cute are they?! Gina's definitely got her hands full with these boys! But she can handle them, as you can see. These are a few of my favorites from out shoot in Mooresville. Hope you like too.
Saturday night was a fun girl's night out for about 12 of us! Some of us got together and ate at Carraba's that afternoon and then headed over to Redstone Arsenal for the Sugarland concert! It was so wet and nasty outside, but we were prepared for it, as you can see. Some of us ended up ruining out shoes and toes in some cases, but luckily, some of us had out rubber boots handy. It ended up being a nice night, but it started out raining, and the ground was already so wet that it just made for a field of mudd. We were all a mess by the time the night was over, but we had fun anyway! It was a night to remember. Here are some pix from the night.
Last Sunday, on Mother's Day, my wonderful mom came over to spend the day with me. We went to church and then I took her to this fancy restaurant called Dot's (so good!), and then we went shopping in Huntsville, and then back to Decatur to attend the butterfly release event at Delano Park! It was a dreary/rainy day, but still fun to hang out with my mom. I took her by to see my butterfly and we saw a lot of the other beautiful works of art on display all around town. Check out the pictures of the crowd that gathered at the park for this event. It was so cool because they had these real butterflies that were in little triangle boxes that everyone just opened at once and they all flew away! You can't really see them all in this picture because they were so little. I wonder how they got those butterflies in those little boxes!
One more picture of Peyton and her best pal Ivy! What a sweet dog. I wanted to take her home with me!
This past "rainy" weekend, I had the privilege of shooting one of my future brides - Miss Peyton Tubb! This was our first time to meet in person and obviously she made a good first impression! Isn't she just gorgeous! Her wedding is at the end of this month and she was so nice and just a joy to work with. Even though it was an ugly day outside, we made the best of it inside her parents' lovely home (some of her friends came over and helped as you can see). The home made a wonderful setting for some window light pictures. The wedding reception is going to be there and I can just imagine how it nice it will be. It was so nice to finally meet you Peyton and I hope you love your pictures as much as I do.
This weekend, we beat the rain on Saturday and got in a great photo shoot with Miss Ali Pieper, senior at Decatur Heritage Christian Academy. Isn't she beautiful! We went to Huntsville and hung out downtown. Then, as soon as we got finished, it came a downpour! We were very lucky. I love these shots of her. She's got the most gorgeous red hair and it just shined in the light! Thanks for a fun time Ali and I hope you like your pictures.
Last weekend, I had the privilege of shooting the gorgeous wedding of Carmin Clark and Casey Nichols! What a pair! They were so much fun. This wedding was so laid back and the weather was absolutely perfect for a wedding! It was in the Pensacola area at a resort called The Eden. As you can see, everyone had a great time. Thanks to my friend
Lanita for helping me. We had a fun time relaxing on the beach one day, just never enough time. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the event. Sorry, but there are lots of great pix with this post!
