Last week, I attended the birthday party of my friends "the twins" Carole and Claire! It was so much fun! They blocked off a part of the street in downtown Athens and had a band, and all their family and friends showed up for BBQ and cake! Here are a few pix from the night. Check out their beautiful kids, and all their gorgeous girlfriends! As you can see, everyone had a great time. Their dad, Bill, even surprised everyone with how well he "cut a rug"!

This week I got the opportunity to shoot pictures of the lovely Carol Carole and her ever growing family. We were trying to beat the rain, and we did! This was the first outdoor pregnancy shoot I've ever done and I was kind of worried about how it would go, but I had a great time! I hope they did too. I think you can tell how relaxed and laid back Carol was, which I appreciated so much. She was so cooperative and I hope she likes these images as much I do. Thanks so much guys for allowing me to share in this special time!

This weekend I got to shoot pregnancy photos of a sweet couple expecting their first baby. Here are a few of my favs. Tonya & Wesley were so much fun and they are having a baby girl - her name is to be Madison. We had a great time and I hope to take pictures of baby Madison after she's born too! Thanks guys!

Next on my list of wonderful women is Jo Carwile! Jo is one of the most inspiring women I know and she is such an example to me through her life as an extraordinary Christian woman. I've worked with her at Calhoun for many years now, but unfortunately for us, she and her pastor husband have been called to spread their wonderful example to another part of the country - Louisville, KY. We are all going to miss her soooooo much but we know this is a great opportunity for them. She's been a shining light for everyone she's come into contact with at Calhoun. She always has the best attitude and seems to point out the positive in every situation, no matter how bad it is. Check out these pictures of her at a farewell reception we had for her last week. Everyone loves her so much and you could definitely feel it that day. I wish Jo, Joel, and baby Zeke all the best in this big adventure they are taking. I also know that wherever they go, people will be blessed by their presence. Good luck and always know that you can come back anytime. I love you Jo and I will miss you tremendously!

This last week, I had to go to a conference in Mobile for Calhoun. I got to travel with some of my great friends from work (Samantha, Celeste, & Chrystal). We had a great time while down there. We ran into Penny from Athens State and ate with her; and I got to meet Chrystal's husband, Mike, for the first time and he was a blast! We ate some great seafood (as you can see from the mound of crabclaws Sam ate!), and we even got to do a little salsa dancing! Who wants to do all that work without a little play?!

Today is Father's Day and I wanted to wish my dad a happy one! I didn't get to see him today, but I was thinking of him. Here are a few of my favorite pictures of him. Of course they are several years old, but that's okay. I have a great dad and I'm thankful that he's just a phone call or short drive away. Thanks daddy, for always being there for me. I love you and I hope you had a great day today. To all the great dads out there, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Next on my list of awesome women is one of my best friends, Kelly Hovater! I have known Kelly for about 8 years now and she's so much fun! I love to hang out with her because she's so easy to be around. Check out these pictures of her at her big 40th birthday party this weekend. She looks HOT and we all had a blast! Kelly is a great wife, mother, daughter, grand daughter, and friend. I love her for her devotion to her family and her trust as a friend. As you an see, she's very attractive and I think a lot of people are intimidated by that, but once they get to know her and see how real she is, they get over their initial reaction. She's my most fashionable friend and she always "loosens" me up when I need it. Thanks Kelly, for being my friend and for being so "Kellyesque." I love you gal!

This weekend, I got to shoot the cutest little angel! Her name is Abby Collins and she is a doll! Check out these pictures of Abby at one year old. It was a pleasure getting to know her and her parents. She loved her "lamby," as you can see, and she was fascinated by the leaves and wanted to pick them all up and eat them. Thanks guys! I really enjoyed it.

I recently shot pictures of my friend Andrew and his fiance' Karen. They are a sweet couple and they are getting married in July. I will get the privilege of documenting their wedding as well.
