Last weekend, my awesome colleague Leslie Willard, of Leslie Adair Photography, and I traveled down to Birmingham to this beautiful place called The Sonnett House to photograph the wedding of Jessica Wentz & Owen Prescott. It was a beautiful ceremony and everyone seemed to have a blast! It sure was hot though! I was glad the wedding was held in the chapel located behind the house, which was very nice too. Congratulations Jess & Owen! I hope you had a great time in Antigua on your honeymoon. I can't wait to hear about that place! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the day. I hope you enjoy them! Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!
Well, Dawson is about 2 1/2 now, but he's still so cute! We did a fun shoot over at Bridge Street Town Center at the carousel and the chocolate shop and the water spouts. He wasn't as crazy about the water as he was over the chocolate! That boy can eat! Mom and Gee Gee were there too. Here are a few of my favorites.
This past weekend, I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Gayla Ashford and Steve Feldman. The event happened at the Old State Bank here in Decatur and it was a lovely day! It was a bit hot, but that was okay. They are so in love! It was just the right size for a wedding, and all the people they loved the most were there, including Gayla's new grandbady! These are a few of my favorite pictures from the day. Thanks guys for letting me be a part of your special day!
I recently went to Nashville over the 4th of July weekend and the fireworks were awesome! The second best in the nation is what they said, and I believe it! It was the best show I've ever seen. Anyway, while killing time waiting on the fireworks to start, I happened into BB King's Blues Club and got to see/hear Stacey Mitchhart. He's a great musician that I had seen before. I was able to get some really cool shots of him that I loved. Check them out. Then, later that weekend, I happened on this gorgeous sunflower field. I wish I had had my good camera with me to take some more artistic shots of the flowers, but I got a few cool shots with my little point/shoot. Enjoy!
I recently got to meet this great couple - Kate Vickery & David Peek and do their engagement shots. I am going to have the privilege of doing their upcoming wedding too! They were so happy. I hope you can tell how happy in these pictures. We met at Delano Park and the lillies were blooming and SO fragrant! You could smell them when you walked into the park. I love that! These are a few of my favorites from our shoot. I hope you guys like them! Can't wait to work with you again.
My friends Kim & Dale Gilliland were kind enough to let us shoot the bridal pictures of the beautiful Rachael Wright! It made for a lovely session and Rachael was absolutely gorgeous! I think she kind of looks a little like Kelly Ripa in some of these shots. The reason she has on two different gowns in these pictures is that one of them was her mother's wedding dress! They altered it a little to update the neck and it turned out beautiful! Anyway, I hope you like them Rachael, these were a few of my favorites.
