This past HOT weekend, I went home to Hackleburg and shot this sweet family - Andrea, Kyle, and little Brady Cantrell. What sports they were in the heat. This little guy was so cute with his blonde curls! And he was a trooper. It was soooo hot and we spent a lot of time outside. Thanks to my mom and her friend Lynn for letting us take pictures at their place. And thanks to the Cantrell's for coming over to meet me. It was so nice seeing you again and meeting little Brady! Here are a few of my favorites.

Here's my tribute to Farrah Fawcett. Another legend has passed. How sad it was to hear of Farrah's passing. She was so beautiful and I think she was smart too! When I was around 10 years old, I was a Farrah fanatic! I guess I still am! I recently pulled out the scrapbook I made of her when I was a kid and looked at it. I was crazy about her and Charlie's Angels and Wonder Woman! Anyway, here are some pictures of the scrapbook I dug out of Farrah. I must have been a cheesy kid because I sat around cutting out pictures of Farrah and making scrapbooks. I even had the playing cards! (as you can see) It was so ironic that I pulled that out just last weekend and then she passed this week. She will definitely be missed.

I'm so sad to hear that we lost Michael Jackson! What an entertainer he was! I loved him! This is my tribute to him. I dressed up like Michael at two different past Halloween costume contests at Calhoun - each was during a different time in his life. He changed so much throughout his life/career. I loved the way he reinvented himself all the time. When I was in London recently, there were huge billboards all over the place advertising his comeback tour. I would have loved to have seen in him concert. He was such a legend. He will be missed!

Check out my little buddy Dawson Taylor! He's getting so big! And as you can tell, he's expecting a little brother very soon! I had such a good time with my great friends! Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your lives.

Last weekend I got to shoot the first pictures of little baby Anna Claire! She's the new addition to this family, only three weeks old! Big brother Liam is not quite used to her yet, but I'm sure he will be the protective big brother very soon. Here are a few of my favorites! A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of shooting the wedding of the beautiful Peyton Tubb and the handsome Vaughan Russell! What a lovely couple and what an extraordinary wedding! As you can see in the pictures, it was an affair to remember! Held at St. John's Episcopal Church in Decatur, the stained glass windows were delightful. The reception was then at the gorgeous home of the bride's parents (Cathy and Glenn Tubb). The flowers were beautiful and designed by Carl Cassidy of Lola's Gifts & Flowers in Tuscumbia. Every detail was thought out and perfect. I hope these pictures will reflect what care went into the planning as well as reflect how much fun everyone seemed to have. Thanks so the fabulous

My friend Lily Cai just graduated from Dental School from the University of Alabama in Birmingham! I'm soooo proud of her! Here are some images of all the family and friends celebrating with her on her big day! She was also re-commissioned as an officer in the Air Force immediately afterwards, as you can see in some of the pictures. Her parents were there, as well as her aunt from San Francisco, myself and my friend Suzanne, as well as Col. Walker (her high school ROTC Col.), and many other important people in her life like her friend Jackie and Mama T! She's off to DC in July to do a residency for a year and then who knows where. How exciting! Congratulations Dr. Cai!
