Introducing little Davis Taylor! He's such a cutie! Just like his big brother Dawson. What a pair. Davis, at only 6 months, is almost as big as his 3 yr-old brother! We shot some pictures at my friend Suzanne's house (their Gigi/grandmother) last weekend and had the best time. These are a few of my favorites. Hope you like!
While we were in Nashville, we got to hear some White House photographers speak. In honor of the event, they had Bill Clinton and George W. Bush there (haha). So, I had to get my picture made with them, and so did David Higginbotham, who we also hung out with at the convention.
Here are some of the best wedding photographers in the world! We got to see them in Nashville this weekend. Here's my idol, Joe Buissink, celebrity wedding photographer from CA doing his presentation, and me with him afterwards. Then, here's Jim Garner from Seattle, WA, along with Joe beside him, then Yervant from Australia, and Garrett Nudd from Chattanooga, TN - all four were speakers for GraphiStudio, my album company. They are great!
Just got back from the 2010 PPA (Professional Photographers of America) Convention, which was in Nashville, TN this year. When it's this close, you can't miss it! The talented Leslie Willard and Terri Gilbert went with me. We got to see some awesome photographers and learned a lot! Here are some pictures of our fun weekened at PPA.
It was super cold, but this crew braved it and held up very well. I have to give them credit. Recently, I shot the family of Joe & Caroline Whitmer. I actually know the Roberts family (Kim, Charlie, CJ, & Katie) best because they used to be my sweet neighbors. I saw these kids grow up! And they've gotten so big! I can't believe how tall CJ is! He's only in the 8th grade too! The other family is Kim's sister Robin, her husband Mike and their daughter Sarah. Thanks guys for letting me be a part of your holiday. I hope you will like your family portraits. These are a few of my favorites.
The other day, my dad called and said he wanted to give his wife, my stepmother, a new diamond. Well, he surprised her with this! Isn't it beautiful! Thanks to the help of Carmin, Eddie and Renate' at Solid Gold Jewelers in Hamilton for their great taste in rings, he selected a wonderful choice! Don't you think! She was sooooo happy! What a nice belated Christmas, early New Year gift!
Last week, we had our annual after Christmas gathering at the O'Neal's house. I always have the privilege of shooting a family portrait while I'm there enjoying good friends and good food. Here is this year's version. The kids are all getting so big. They all acted so pleasant while getting their pictures made, probably because they were freezing and couldn't wait to get inside! It was so much fun. Here are a few of my favorites.
Well, my cousin and I decided to go to Rome, Italy for Christmas! We had a blast! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas here. This is just a small taste of what we saw. There are no words to explain how historic this city is, and all the art, architecture, sculptures, fountains, churches, etc! It's just too much to comprehend. If you haven't visited, you must someday! I think we saw almost every fountain, church, museum, and piece of art that we sought out. We even got to see the Pope! But that wasn't me that jumped him on Christmas eve, ha ha.
While I was there, I had to take a portrait of Yanah and Larry. They love their place and they have worked so hard on it for many years. They are the sweetest couple. We had such a good time visiting them. Oh, they had two sweet kitties also that we loved playing with.
